Click this link: FL State Park Reservation system to get started. The system works well with android phones and iPhone and the Microsoft Edge browser. It does not work well with Google Chrome. Once on the web page, scroll down to: "Book Your Overnight Stay Today" and click on that link.
Once you see the "login" page, click "login" in the upper right hand corner of the page. This will open a window that will allow you to "Create An Account". Creating an account allows you to store all your state park reservations and it allows you to verify that you are a Florida resident. Being a Florida resident allows you to reserve campsites 11 months in advance. Non-residents are only allowed to reserve sites 10 months in advance. Follow the prompts on the page to sign up for an account. You will need a photo of your Florida state ID. Taking a picture of it with your phone and e-mailing it to yourself, it usually the easiest way. You will also need to give yourself a user ID and a password for the site.
Once your account is established, it is easy enough to return to the "Login" page and log into the FL state reservation system. You can then pick your preferred state park campground, select a site the appropriate for your rig, reserve it and pay with a credit card. Most sites have photos of the site, maps of the campgrounds and specs for each site listing size, amperage, water and if they contain sewer hook-ups. They will also be listed as "tent only" or "rv/tent". Be sure to reference "Details" and "Amenities". Watching a YouTube video on the particular campground can also be helpful in selection a site.
Once your have chosen your park and your site, you will be prompted to provide your information: Name, Address, Phone, Vehicle type and length with registration numbers, number of pets and number of people with you. Once you have that all finished you will be asked to pay for the site. Be sure to check the appropriate box, Adult, Senior, Disabled, FL resident, etc.. Senior FL residents receive a substantial discount.
Should you need to cancel your reservation, FL State Parks will readily refund your fees minus a $17.50 service charge. You can also call them: 1-800-326-3521 A real person will answer the phone.
